No. There are no setup fees or start-up costs to get onboarded. Our team also helps migrate your existing guard profiles, certifications, and site data from spreadsheets or other systems at no additional cost.

Yes. GPS geofenced check-in, patrol session tracking, BOLO alerts, incident reports, document management, mobile app, Secureburg Academy access — all of it is available from day one on every plan. The only differences are guard count limits, reporting depth, and support level.

Ongoing improvements to your plan's existing features — like new reporting views, mobile updates, and workflow refinements — are included at no extra charge. All core Secureburg features are included in every plan, with no feature tiers or module fees. Messaging, hardware, and other usage-based services include a plan allowance and may carry additional usage charges beyond that; entirely new premium capabilities we introduce down the road may be offered as optional add-ons.

Each plan includes a reasonable usage allowance for SMS/text messaging and email. Usage beyond that allowance may incur an additional cost or require purchasing credits.

Guard count is the number of active guard accounts in your company. Admin, Site Admin, and Client accounts do not count toward your limit. Terminated or deactivated guards are not counted.

You'll receive a notification when you're approaching your limit. You can upgrade to the next plan at any time — changes take effect immediately and you're only billed the difference for the remainder of the billing period.

All plans include access to Secureburg Academy, which connects your guards with licensed training providers — or lets your own DPS-licensed instructors host courses directly on the platform. Certification courses from DPS-licensed training providers are purchased separately per enrollment — pricing is listed on the Academy site.

Training providers set their own prices for the courses they host on Secureburg Academy, including offering courses for free or at a discount using promotions and coupons.

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Personnel documents are stored with AES-256 encryption. We comply with GDPR and SOC 2-aligned security controls. Access is always role-restricted.

We accept all major credit cards. Annual plans can be invoiced. Contact us for ACH or check arrangements on Professional plans.
